The 10 Best Decorations to Spook up your Home this Halloween

It’s that creepy time of year again! You might be hosting a party (getting fully involved for kids and trick or treaters) or just wanting something lowkey, but this list has something for everybody. From simple assembly and token pumpkins, to full on, everything-included sets, we’ve got you covered this Halloween. Happy Spooking!

FAIRY LIGHT FIX

Because who doesn’t love fairy lights? This cute string of pumpkin lights fits in any aesthetic you choose to go for for your Halloween decor. They work both outside and inside, so they’re brilliant for taking the festivities outdoors! They’d work fantastically on inside walls, or as a ‘cute-spook’ addition to your front door.

THE FAMILY FRIENDLY ALL-ROUNDER

This classic package of banners has you set for Halloween, especially if your night will involve kids. The items are very cute but still keep the essence of Halloween - so all of the spooky is not lost! It’s great for a last minute order that will give you a bit of everything, and ideal for those who like to keep things simple - plus it’s all paper, so can be recycled afterwards!

GIRL’S NIGHT

Having the girls round for a few too many drinks this year, even if via video call? These decorations are perfect for you. With a twist on the classic orange and black colour scheme, this set adds a bit of something different. My personal favourite is the ‘cheers witches’ banner - because even Halloween isn’t exempt from puns, especially if they suggest the availability of drinks. This set up would be perfect for those Instagram shots, too.

VERSATILE AF

I can personally vouch for this one. A large cobweb that’s cheap and simple, and can be used for anything. It can be a fireplace decoration, table runner, something to hang over your door, or even as a cape if you’re in need of a low-effort costume. It really is the decoration that does everything!

THE STATEMENT

If you go big for Halloween, this is the thing for you! Go the extra mile with this outdoor projector for spooky images on your walls, and be the top spot for trick or treaters. This really is the product to step up your Halloween game, and not just for this year, but many, many years to come. It also comes with Christmas slides, too!

GHOSTLY WINDOWS

Easy, low cost, and makes you look invested in Halloween with minimum effort? Tick. Ghost window decals such as these are great for making your place look spooky for visitors. They come in several colours, and you get 13 ghosts and 5 ‘BOOO’ decals.

SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE

This brings back memories of beaded curtains girls used to have in the 90s/00s, and I’m here for it. A black fringe curtain gives a fun way of entering your kitchen or living room, and is great for kids. It can also be part of your photo wall, for festive Instagram photos. For the latter, consider getting two to join together, and pair with some banners.

ON HALLOWEEN, WE WEAR BLACK

All black everything, right? These streamers with different Halloween based images attached are so low maintenance, yet really effective. They make a statement without taking ages to set up, or requiring blowing up several balloons. They also compliment any pre-existing decorations you have, so you don’t have to worry about ruining a colour scheme.

SKELETON CARD BUNTING

Looking for something a bit different? This quirky skeleton garland is just for you. Featuring 12 different poses, at two metres long, it’s simple and fitting, without scaring the life out of anyone you might be entertaining. Printed on thick card, they’re also incredibly easy to store ready for next year too!

That completes our list of Halloween must haves to decorate your house with for this year's spooky season. Whatever your plans, there’s something for each kind of occasion. So what are you waiting for? It’s never too early to decorate afterall! Or too late if it has slipped your mind and you need something last minute.

Feel free to tag us in any of your decoration photos you put on Instagram. Creep it real!
