Review
The pantomime continues to be a family/ friends Christmas tradition for so many. There is something so nostalgic about it every year, especially those who have been going to the panto at Christmas since they were little, it’s a real festive treat. What makes a panto is the lead up to it, the ‘on the night’ excitement, the actors, the setting and the belly hurting laughters, and Peter Pan exceeded all these.
If you are looking for something to do in Milton Keynes, or you are yet to experience a panto then I strongly recommend going to MK Theatre and go on a trip to the Never Land! The cast for this was no less than the perfect choices. They had Craig Revel Horwood, the hilariously known judge on BBC Strictly Come Dancing as Captain Hook, paired with hilarious ventriloquist Max Fulham.Last but not least west end stars, Ross Carpenter as Peter Pan, Zara MacIntosh as Tink and Eveyln Hoskin as Wendy. The entire cast was absolutely hilariously brilliant, matched with outstanding costumes and the settings blew us away.
Max Fulham completely blew us away with his performance and was the true star of the show leaving us crying with laughter. The ventriloquist was the perfect match for this performance and I know many parties around us agreed. A truly great start to the festive season, Peter Pan was one of the best performances I have ever seen and a performance I would recommend to everyone.
Stand out moment: Act 1, the introduction to the hilarious connection between Captain Hook and Smee
See If: You love musicals you can interact with and witty comedy
Similar Plays/Musicals: Disney Musicals
Last Impression: The best pantomime to date with a perfectly matched cast
