Frequently Asked Questions

Our Community Fee allows us to run the cities network helping you to meet new people, try out new things at an accessible price and feel more connected to your city. This includes insurance, volunteer support, a pot for those financially struggling to attend events and business costs, just like any other business or community organisation. We strive to keep the fee as low as possible (less than a soft drink!) to ensure that its affordable to all. As it stands, we cannot run the city girl network without it.
We have started to offer advertising partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to help sustain and grow the City Girl Network. If you'd like to hear more, please email partnerships@citygirlnetwork.com

I’m afraid all of our events are sold as non-refundable.
-
Yes - you can opt to sell your ticket via the Facebook event page. However, it is your responsibility to inform steph@citygirlnetwork.com of any change so we can amend the guest list. Without this notice, the person who has taken your space may be turned away.
-
We welcome all women, non-binary and trans femmes to our events.
We do hold a select amount of events for all genders but we will make that clear on the event information.
-
Absolutely! The mission of the network is to help women, non-binary & trans femmes feel more connected to their local communities.
-
I’m afraid unless we have specifically stated that it is an all genders event - then it is for women only and they will be asked to leave.
-
If stated on the event copy that dogs are welcome, then absolutely! However, if it doesn’t then this walk is for city girls only and no furry plus ones should come along.
-
No! - As long as you are 18+ we would love you to be a part of the city girl network.
-
Of course! In fact, we encourage that - and design our events for you to meet new friends and feel more connected to your local community.
-
On events, we have a ‘buddy up’ note and encourage you to add a comment the Facebook event so you can find someone else and go into the event together. Alternatively, you can email steph@citygirlnetwork and it can be organised for our Event Host(s) to meet you outside prior to the event beginning to ensure you feel comfortable.
-
If that happens - it means the event has sold out. To be first in the know about your cities events we would recommend subscribing to our newsletter. You can do that here
-
Sadly not! - You will need to register to attend a city girl event.
-
We love to hear from organisations that align with our values to help women, non-binary and trans femmes grow their confidence, feel empowered, educated and supported to live their best possible lives. If that resonates with you - we 100% want to hear from you.
-
