Review

Roll up roll up to Bristol Hippodrome for the most magic and laughter filled pantomime!

If you are looking to fill two and a half hours of your day, this is the perfect way to do it.

During the pantomime, you will meet Candyfloss, (the show’s narrator), Billy Barnum (owner of Barnum Circus), his daughter Goldilocks (the Evil Ringmaster) and of course the star of any pantomime, Dame Betty (Billy's mother).

The pantomime follows the story of Billy, who receives the deeds to his family circus with the villain trying to obtain them in order to become the greatest showman on earth. When Billy leaves the deed to Goldilocks to hide the deed, she meets the most adorable three little bears who not only dance but also sing and rap!

The show comes with the most magical scenes from the one and only Misterioso. As well as dance and aerobics performances from the The Timbuktu Tumblers. And who can forget Nelly the elephant who put every child, parent and grandfather in awe.

This was truly a pantomime like no other. The whole production, from songs, lighting, props and costumes is done to the highest standard.

By the time the pantomime finished I wanted to experience it again, but will I? Yes I will.

Favourite moment: Billy eating an apple and attempting of saying a rhyme.

Best costume: Dame Betty, the queen of every pantomime.
