Wanna know more about the routine?
AHHHHH what a routine choreographed by Bonnie Parsons & Kelechi Nwanokwu!!!
In the words of Bonnie - SOS CEO & Founder & A-list Choreographer:
“When I was researching the song, if you watch the music video there’s Taylor Swift. and she’s like this master controlling character and behind the screen she goes to this underground place and there’s this alter ego. She’s almost like this super hero, powerful - an alter ego version of her!
This super hero symbolises that whatever has been controlling her, she’s realised that it doesn’t benefit anyone to give anyone their power. She reclaims it, takes it back, breaks free of it all. She’s dangerous but in the most empowering way and this character is going …Are You Ready For It?
So I wanted to dedicate this routine to anything that you feel is controlling you in any way. You are this alter ego character breaking free.
The way that Kelechi and I have choreographed it is we’re different characters. So to begin with, we’re the controlling character, then it goes into this “ethereal fairy” of discovering your vulnerability stepping into who you can be and after that it’s the breaking free moment and you’re just f**king it up, in the best way.”
Wear what makes you feel your most confident self!
Please Note: Please ensure you bring clean or indoor trainers are per venue policy.
