Join us for the Writing Workshop at Moxy MK!
MK Girl Writing Workshop is a monthly workshop for anyone interested in any style and genre of writing. It is an opportunity to meet like minded people and cultivate connections that can broaden your writing in the direction you want it to go or to simply explore this interest.
Whether you have writer’s block, are new to writing, want to write - we want to provide a space that can nurture a positive, creative outlet.
Hosted by our volunteer Event Host, Nova, who will be there to bring the team together and lead you in this workshop.
Each session will begin with getting to know each other & catching up, followed by various methods to get you writing & sharing. We will be looking at a focus every month to get those creative juices flowing in a relaxed, no pressure environment.
For October this will be… Inner Child!
The focus is subject to change based on the group’s decision.
So, if you’ve just moved to Milton Keynes or have been here forever but fancy making some new pals this is the event for you! We understand that coming to an event can be daunting if you haven’t been to one before (or sometimes even if you have!
We really want you all to know that absolutely everyone on the MK Girl group is welcome. We are a group of kind, supportive and inclusive girls who are all here with the same thing in mind - to create some strong connections and quality friendships.
So please don’t worry if you’re feeling anxious as those anxieties will certainly fade once you’ve met us!
Tickets are £2.50 which is our community fee which goes towards keeping our communities running.
