Brighton and Hove Business Show with the City Girl Network

The Brighton and Hove Business Show is a huge calendar moment in the local business community. This iconic free event at our mighty Amex Stadium sees over 60 businesses showcasing what they do alongside high-calibre speakers and networking sessions.

This year, for the first time ever, we’re exhibiting AND partnering with the Brighton and Hove Business Show to give City Girls the best possible experience.

All you need to do is…

  1. Sign up for this event

  2. Register for the show

  3. Pop it in your calendar!

  4. Collect your extra special City Girl Badge from the entrance OR at our stand if you arrive later than 10.15

  5. Say hello to anyone wearing the badge!

Why are we arranging a group trip to the Brighton and Hove Business Show?

Business Shows, also called ‘Expos’, can be an incredibly daunting and lonely experience to start with. You’re going to into a huge exhibition space that’s full of networking opportunities that even the most courageous networkers can find challenging.

By coming along to the Brighton and Hove Business Show as a City Girl, you’re skipping the feeling of loneliness and jumping right in with a whole team of other cheerleaders.

Our team will be there to support and match you with new connections to help you make the very most of the day.

  • Not at all! And you don’t have to arrive at 10, either. We’ll be at our stand all day to support you.

That being said, there are some great talks and formal networking sessions on. So it’s certainly worth planning to be there all day if you can!

  • There’s a group of City Girls keen to travel together via train from Brighton and Lewes. The times and station meet points will be shared nearer the time.

Please be aware that travel fares are not included in this ticket.

  • This event is for anyone wanting to grow their career, find new jobs, gain new freelance clients and grow their businesses within the local community.

Even if you’re exhibiting with your own company, you can still sign up to join us!

  • You get a badge! This helps us to work out how many to order.

And you can be kept in the loop with travel plans. Why not start a bit of light networking early and have a friendly face with you throughout the day?

This event will also be a special part of our Loneliness Awareness Week event programme.

SOCIAL MEDIA DISCLAIMER: Photos will be taken at this event to be used on our social media channels. If you do not wish for your photo to be used, please let one of the Event Hosts know on the day.

Join us for our Cardiff Girl Book Club held in 'The Cwtch' in Wales Millenium Centre.

So, grab your book (or your kindle!) and join us on the 13th June with our Event Host Chloe to enjoy an evening of talking all things books and great company. Every month the event host will choose a theme and a poll will be created to allow people to vote on which book will be next on our 'to-be-read' list.

There'll be a range of books and a range of themes, maybe you'll find your next favourite author, or a new favourite genre?!
